AmChina’s new Chairman and President Visited Dalian
On February 18-19, AmCham-China’s Chairman, John Watkins, and President, Michael Barbalas, visited the two thriving cities of Shenyang and Dalian, located in Liaoning Province. The visit was an opportunity for the chamber to meet both with local government officials and the American business community residing in the province.
During the visit, a series of meetings hosted by the United States Consulate General in Shenyang provided an opportunity for AmCham-China’s leadership to deliver key-note speeches, and share their insight on the current Chinese business climate. In addition, both speakers took time to answer questions on the current economic crisis and the Chinese government’s stimulus plan.
